Every day is busy. Every day is full of possibility and projects, errands and expectations. It is far too easy to get lost in the schedule. When I spend more time worrying about what I need to get done than enjoying what I am doing, I become discontented.

Moments pass quickly, so we need to grab one from time to time.

Right now. Try this. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. It feels good, doesn't it? Take another one, noticing what your body does as you breathe. Do it again. Where does your mind wander as you try to focus on breathing? Whether you think about what you need to get done, what you ate for lunch, or how you've missed the mark today, stop it. Give yourself twenty seconds to just breathe and think only about what you're thankful for. And then, say thank you to God. Of course, life is not all beauty and laughter. But, if you take time to be grateful for the moments that are good, you will notice even more of them. And, that is like a breath of fresh air.
